FORMER MALAD TEACHER DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Miss Elizabeth Barnes McDougall, 82, who taught school in Malad for a period of about 15 years beginning in 1905, died at Artesia, Calif., June 12. The body was brought to Malad Monday for burial.

Miss McDougall was born at Rome, New York, Sept. 20, 1860 and taught in Illinois 25 years before coming to Malad. She was the sister of D.C. McDougal, John McDougall and Frank McDougall.

Services were held Tuesday at the funeral home with Dr. V.P. Garst presiding. Rev. Ferry of the Presbyterian church of Pocatello delivered the sermon. Miss Barbara Clabby accompanied by S.M.Powell rendered a vocal solo, Mrs. Lurline James and S.M. Powell rendered a duet and Mrs. Helen Ossmen played a violin solo.

Interment was in the city cemetery with the Rev. Ferry dedicating the grave
