Eliza Ann C. Gibson

GIBSON, ELIZA ANN C.

Mrs. Eliza Ann C. Gibson was born March 7, 1887 at Blaenavon, England, a daughter of Eli James and Mary Ann Llewellyn Challenger. She was married to David James Gibson, July 5, 1903 at Heckland, Indiana. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Gibson died May 24, 1938.

Mrs. Gibson lived in Bicknell, Indiana and moved to Oneida County in October, 1916 to homestead in the Daniels area. She was an active member in the LDS Church, a member of the Royal Neighbors Club.

Survivors include three sons, Glen Gibson and Don Gibson, both of Tremonton, UT; Eli Gibson, Pocatello; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Archiblad, Pocatello; Mrs. Golden (Agnes) palmer, Aberdeen; Mrs. Sam (Elsie) Thomas and Mrs. Tommy (Lila) Thorpe, both of Malad; a niece, Mrs. Charles (Emma) Richards, Merced, CA; 25 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; a brother, James Challenger, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers, Vincennes, Indiana.
