Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Elene J. Pincock, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 1997 at McKay-Dee Hospital after a short illness.
She was born August 18, 1922 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Wallace and Irene Jenkins.
Elene married Grant Blackford Pincock on October 23, 1946 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked 40 years as a PB-X telephone operator, and retired from the Kennecott Copper Corporation in 1984.
Surviving are her husband, Grant Pincock, Malad City, Idaho; two sons: Jerry J. Pincock, Pocatello, Idaho; and Dennis Grant (Kathie) Pincock, West Valley City, Utah; one daughter: Sandra (Rodney) Struhs, Corpus Christie, Texas; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. Also surviving are two brothers: Stanley (Carol) Jenkins, Pocatello, Idaho; and Gene (Pat) Jenkins, Fresno, California; one sister: Karen (Alan) Sobel, Taylorsville, Utah; and one sister-in-law: Thelma Jenkins, Paragonah, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wallace Jenkins and one grandson, Corey Rodney Struhs.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 15 at the Malad Second-Fifth LDS Ward Building. Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery.
