Funeral services for Eldon E. Evans, 29, who died Sunday morning in a Salt Lake City hospital of chock following a lung operation, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 23 1948?) in the Malad LDS Third ward.

Mr. Evans was born at Malad, May 29, 1919, the son of David R. and the late Margaret E. Evans. He attended the Malad public schools and was engaged in farming with this father and brothers at the time of his death. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors in addition to his father are two brothers, Wm. E. and Darhl E., both of Malad, one niece and four nephews.
