Elden William Wade, (1922)

ELDEN WILLIAM WADE

Elden William Wade was born July 18, 1922 in American Falls, Power County, ID, son of Lawrence and Pearl Wade. He was raised in Malad, Idaho.

He married Dora L. Gough on February 29, 1944 in the Logan Temple. They spent most of their married life in Twin Falls and Boise, ID.

They were blessed with six children: Elden W., Jr. (deceased), Judy (Kerry) Ballard and Lenore (Gail) Martineau of Snowflake, AZ, Dorene (Craig) Morgan of Puyallup, WA, Steven L. (deceased), and Mark (Christine) of Boise, ID, and 21 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

He is survived by one brother and four sisters and preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and one sister. He worked most of his life as a Neon Tube Bender for several sign companies in the Boise area.

He served faithfully in various callings in the LDS Church and after retiring, he and Dora worked for 15 years in the Boise Temple. In 2001 they moved to Snowflake, AZ where he quietly passed away on September 1, 2011. Services were held September 7 in Snowflake, AZ.

Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor, AZ.
