Elaine Reed, 25 February 1921

Elaine Reed, 81, of Hemet, CA and former Malad resident, passed away on April 20, 2002 in Hemet.

She was born February 25, 1921 in Daniels, ID, a daughter of William J. and Clara Newhouse Reed. The past several years Elaine had resided in California. She played the piano, organ and loved to sew and embroider. She also enjoyed reading her library of books.

Elaine is survived by three sisters, Mildred (Rex) Evans of Malad; Merle (Leonard) Nault of Temecula, CA; and Norma (Gary) Rassmussen of Hillsboro, OR; two brothers, Cleon Reed of California and Boyd J. (Aleine) Reed of Bowman, SC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held May 4, 2002 in the St. John Cemetery.
