Funeral Wednesday For Effie Pilgrim

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Salt Lake City for Mrs. Effie Evans Pilgrim, 79, who died of natural causes at Salt Lake City, August 13[1967].

Mrs. Pilgrim was born July 21, 1888 at Snowville, to Jonah and Jane Morse Evans. She married John H. Pilgrim, June 6, 1914, at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 18, 1948.

Mrs. Pilgrim had taught in the elementary school at Malad. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Group.

Survivors include: sons, daughters, J. Max, Malad; Don L., Clearfield; Laurence V., San Francisco; Gean G., Ogden; Mrs. Paul (Helen) Maag, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Margaret Tiensure, Downey, Idaho; 21 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildren; brother, sisters, Jonah, Malad; Mrs. Edna E. Green, McCammon; Mrs. Hazel E. Oliverson, Salt Lake City.
