Edna Smith Rowe, 30 March 1906

Edna Smith Rowe, 90, former Pocatello resident, passed away November 24, 1996 at the Sierra Health Care Center in Sparks, NV of causes incident to age. She had resided in Nevada since 1977.

She was born march 30, 1906, a daughter of Arthur and Bertha Wakley, and lived most of her life in Downey and Pocatello. She married Carl Smith and they later divorced. She married Sherman W. Rowe in 1947.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Leeder of Reno, NV; a stepdaughter, Jeanne Green of Pocatello; and a stepson, Glade Rowe, of McCammon; 17 step grandchildren and a great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two brothers, one sister, her only son, Gary, and her only granddaughter, Nadine.

A memborial service was held in Nevada Saturday. Graveside services will be held at the Downey City Cemetery on December 4.

Arrangements are being made by the Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Home in Pocatello.
