Edith Dicks Hoskins. 14 November 1918

Edith Dicks Hoskins, 84, died September 13, 2003 in Salt lake City, UT of natural causes.

She was born November 14, 1918 in Perry, UT to George William Dicks and Elizabeth Inez Allen Dicks. She married Elvoid C. Hoskins June 6, 1942 in Malad, ID; the marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 19, 1963. He preceded her in death April 25, 1977.

Edith is survived by her three sons, Jerold E. (Jacquline), Kent D. (Geraldine), Gordon C. (Brenda); 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

After the death of her husband, Edith served the Lord diligently as a worker at Welfare Square for 22 years. Many will remember Edith for her quick wit, others will remember her hand sewn Christmas, even pajamas and embroidered pillowcases.

A funeral service will be held September 20, 2003 at the Edison Ward East Chapel, Salt Lake City. Interment to follow the service at Redwood Memorial Cemetery in West Jordan, UT. arrangements under the direction of Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
