DOYLE ALVIN JOHN

Doyle Alvin John, 54 of Malad and husband of Marsh Becklund John, passed away of sudden heart failure. On July 3, 2005.

He was born June 24, 1951, in Logan, Utah, a son of DuWayne and Ruby Byington John. He was raised and educated in Malad. He married Marsha Becklund and the marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Doyle worked for La-Z-Boy and later, Convergys. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially doing geneology on his computer.

He is survived by his wife of Malad; a daughter, Tracy Allison (David) Jones of Malad; grandchildren: David and Dalton Jones, Malad; a brother; DuWayne (Juanita) John of Washington; sisters: Roylene Watkins of New Jersey; Darlene (George) Welsh of Ogden Utah; Carol Davis of Brigham City, Utah; Linda (Bud) Hollingsworth of Preston, Idaho; and Patsy (David) McIntire of Brigham City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Beverly Coburn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 9, 2005, at 12 noon in the Malad LDS Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:30 – 11:30 am. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
