WHETSEL, DOROTHY M. JONES, January 11, 1918 – May 15, 2008

Dorothy M. (Jones) Whetsel, 90, peacefully passed away May 15, 2008 surrounded by her family. Born January 11, 1918 in Malad, Idaho to John Henry and Elizabeth Moon Jones. Dorothy married Charles T. Whetsel on December 14, 1938 in Malad, Idaho.

Dorothy and Charlie were long time residents of Copperfield and Riverton, Utah. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her gardens.

When she left this life she was greeted on the other side by her parents, brother, Darrell, sisters, Ione, Thella, Wilda, Betty Gay, her husband, Charlie and sons, Robert and Boyd.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Dennis and daughter Cheryl; her brother, Arthur Jones; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on May 20, 2008 in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, Sandy, UT.
