D. Thain Price, 66 dies in Oregon

Donald Thain Price, age 66, of Baker, Oregon and former resident of Malad, died Feb. 15th in a Baker hospital of a long illness.

He was born September 24, 1909, at Malad, a son of Samuel Willard and Matilda Gleed Price.

He married Udar Christophersen and divorced. He married Virginia Baker Jones and they were divorced. He married Del Frances Persson on November 11, 1947 at Baker.

He was in construction work and was a heavy equipment operator, he managed service stations, and was employed at the Chemical Lime.

Mr. Price was a graduate of Malad High School, and had lived in Malad, Burley, Jerome, Boise and Baker.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include his widow, Baker; one son and two daughters: Ira Thayne Price, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Gerald (Laurel Dee) Smith, Jr., Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Donna Morris, Rocklin, Calif.; three grandchildren;

Two brothers and three sisters; S. Willard Price, Youngstown, Ohio; John L. Price and Mrs. Daniel (Annie) Daniels, both Malad; Mrs. Mary Peterson, Logan, Utah; Mrs. Leonard (Fawn) Bealer, North Bend, Oregon.

Funeral service was held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Benson Funeral Home.

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by the Benson Funeral Home.
