Deloria Price died Sun., funeral set Thursday

Deloria Ann Peterson Price, age 85, of Samaria, died Sunday, Apr. 17 at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.

She was born Nov. 24, 1891 in Snowville, Utah. She was a daughter of Hyrum and Esther Arbon Peterson.

She married Evan M. Price July 2, 1913 in Samaria. The marriage was solemnized June 20, 1917 in the Logan LDS Temple. She grew up and attended school in Samaria. She was a member of the LDS Church in which she was active in the Primary and Relief Society organizations for many years.

Survivors include five sons and four daughters: Theon Price, Heyburn, E. Platt Price, Samaria, Hyrum D. Price, Merrill Price, both of Ogden, Ronald K. Price, San Bernadino, Calif., Mrs. Wendall Lewis, Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. James R. (Deltha) Strong, Wendall, Mrs. Gerald E. (Eulalia) Peacock, Kaysville, Ut., [Utah] and Mrs. John (Anita) Williams, Tremonton; 31 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother; H. Howard Peterson, Thatcher, Ut., [Utah] half-brother, Hyrum Peterson, Malad; two half-sisters-Helena Simmons, S.L.C., Ut. [Utah] and Leola Boley, Alhambra, Calif.

Funeral Thursday

Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon in the Samaria Ward Chapel, with Bishop Joe Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Samaria cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday evening or Thursday, prior to services, at the Funeral Home.
