DON L. PILGRIM

Former Malad resident dies

Former Malad resident, Don L. Pilgrim, 55, died February 19th [1979] at the home in Clearfield of a heart attack. He was the son of John Pilgrim and Violet Hadfield Pilgrim [born April 10, 1923]. While in the service he married Elaine Fredrick.

He was a graduate of Malad High School and worked in the Air Force all of his life. At the time of his death he was a Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of Clearfield; one son, Gary, Washington; two daughters, Susan Pilgrim of Clearfield, and Linda Pilgrim, New Orleans; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Max Pilgrim, Malad; Lawrence Pilgrim, Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Dave (Margaret) Treasure, Malad, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Magg[sic], Salt Lake City.

Funeral services were held in Clearfield. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Ogden.
