DeWayne Christiansen (Birth – 9 September 1923)

Funeral services for DeWayne Christiansen, 19, who died at the Oneida hospital Saturday (22 Feb. 1941) were held Tuesday at the Pleasant View church house. The invocation was offered by David Hughes, the benediction by Ruel Ipsen. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Lorenzo Harris of McCammon.

The speakers for the service were Dr. O. H. Mabey, J. M. Isaacson, John Illum, Charles Thornley of McCammon.

Musical numbers consisted of duet by Ella Ipsen and Joyce Thorpe, trio, by Delores Price. Mrs. Elmer Price and Theda Whitehead; solo by Mrs. Ellen Williams, duet by Helen and Dorothy Harris.

A large number of out-of-town visitors attended the services.

De Wayne was a brother to the two little girls who were drowned in the Portneuf river last May—Hazel 6 and Ardeen 3.
