DEE CAMERON

Funeral services for Dee Cameron, who died in Ogden October 19, 1952, of a heart attack, were held Saturday afternoon at the Malad First Ward chapel.

Bishop D. Dredge Thomas officiated, gave the obituary and remarks. The prayer at the funeral home was offered by Neil Crowther and the invocation, George Ward; benediction, Bill Colton, and dedication of the grave, J. Guy Benson. Mrs. Mae Williams played the prelude and postlude music and accompanied the musical numbers. The speakers were I. D. Zundell, J. Peter Jensen and Wm. H. Rutter. The musical number were: quartet, Joe, George and Golden Ward and Eldon Corbridge; duet, Mary Alice Williams and Helen John.

Those from out of town attending were his sister, Mrs. Henry Hess of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Bert Cameron, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Freeman and children, Rupert; Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Former Malad Resident
Dies At Ogden

OGDEN – Dee Cameron, 62, of Ogden Hotel, died Monday morning in his room at the hotel of a heart attack.

Mr. Cameron was night clerk at the hotel. He lived in Malad for 43 years and in Ogden the past two years.

He was born Oct. 30, 1890, in Ohio, a son of Jeremiah George and Hannah Annikin Cameron.

Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Estella Hess and Mrs. Ada Cuthbert, Akron, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at the First Ward chapel, Malad, Saturday at 1 o’clock. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home from Friday noon until time of services.
