Ogden, Utah – Deanne Thomas Burnett, 45, 885 Melody Lane, Ogden, died Saturday at the McKay Dee Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born July 24, 1939, in Malad, to LaMar J. and Annabel Ashton Thomas.

She was reared and educated in Malad and graduated from Malad High School.

She married Ronald L. Price in Nevada in 1957.They were later divorced. She married Jerry Burnett in Ogden in 1965.. They were also divorced.

In 1957, she moved to Ogden, where she had worked for the Bank of Utah for 14 years as a loan officer and also a manager. She also worked for the Citizen’s Bank for two years and also for the First Bank of Wyoming for two years. She was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by her father, Malad; two sons, Ronald L. Price and Gerald T. Burnett, Ogden; two daughters, Julie A. Clifford, Layton, Utah; Dinna L. Leavitt, Ogden; one brother, Elton Ashton, Malad; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Thomas Tew, Pleasantview, Utah; Marlene Blake, Lumerton N.C.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 20, 1985, at 1:30 p.m. At Leavitt’s Chapel of Flowers, Ogden. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
