LOGAN—SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Darrell Thomas Gleed, 75, passed away Peacefully, Tuesday, December 8,1992 in Salt Lake City, of a heart attack.

He was bom April 27,1917 in Malad, Idaho to William and Eva Thorpe Gleed. He married Odetta Van Leuven May 31,1938. He retired July 7,1977 from the Union Pacific Railroad. He and his wife moved from Logan to Salt Lake City in June 1992. He was a king and loving man who will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Salt Lake City; two sons, Virgil and Rhonda Gleed, Tooele; Douglas and Elaine Gleed, Salt Lake City; one daughter Pennie and Fred Wall, Taytorsville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Gleed, Logan; Jay Gleed, Arco, Idaho; one sister, Sarah Harris, Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and sisters and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center
Logan, with Bishop William Gleed conducting. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday evening
from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Logan Cemetery.
