Darrel Voss Tubbs, 18 August 1946

Darrel Voss Tubbs, age 55, passed away April 14, 2002 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. he was surrounded by loved ones and family.

Darrel was born August 18, 1946 in Malad, ID. He spent his youth in Holbrook and Malad, attending Malad schools and graduating in 1964.

He served in the New England Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating from BYU, he taught school at Cedar City, UT; he served for two years in the US Air Force; he worked in Salt Lake, and then moved to California. He recently retired from AT&T and moved back to Malad.

He is survived by his life partner, Peter Serafin; his parents, Stuart and Faye Tubbs; one brother Ron (Theresa) Tubbs, all of Malad; his sisters, Beverly (Paul) Howell of Nibley, UT; Sharon (Sam) Hendricks of Salt Lake City; Joyce Mizrahi of Boulder, CO; several nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Stuart Dan; a sister, Vicky Hall; and two nephews.

Services will be held April 19, 2002 at the Malad Second Ward. Burial will take place in the Malad City Cemetery.
