Daniel Charles Hall

HALL, DANIEL CHARLES – February 6, 1919 – February 25, 2006

Daniel Charles Hall was raised by his grandparents on the family farm in Malad, Idaho with his uncles and aunts whom he came to think of as his siblings.

He attended school in the Malad School District.

He served his country in WWII in the European Theater with the 513th Infantry Parachute Airborne Division. After his honorable discharge from the service, he learned the ceramic tile business and formed his own company, D&D Tile Company in 1948. He continued to set tile until he was 85 years young.

Daniel married Josephine Peterson March 7, 1938. She passed away May 7, 1964. He married Marsha Jensen September 24, 1965.

He was a life- long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha; daughters, Jo Danele (Mike) Thornton, Linda (Mike) Brown; sons, Michael (Lisa), Blaine (Carla), Richard (Carol); 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

His greatest joys were his family and spending time with them. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball and BYU sports.

Funeral services will be held at Murray Utah Little Cottonwood Stake Center on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. There will also be a viewing on Friday evening at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, Utah.
