DALE BOOTHE SCHVANEVELDT

Dale Boothe Schvaneveldt, 71 died March 13, 2000, at his home. Dale was born at Weston, Idaho, May 21, 1238 [1928] to Leland Erastus and Lila May Boothe Schvaneveldt. Dale married Annis Tacy Buxton at Pocatello, Idaho, on May 29, 1950. The marriage was solemnized at the Idaho Falls Temple on March 6, 1965 and together they bore five children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dale never met a stranger, as everyone was his good friend. He will be missed greatly, yet all are glad that he is at peace.

Dale loved animals of all kinds but he was especially partial to horses. Dale had a knowledge of horses that equaled that of any veterinarian and people would come to him for advice on caring for their animals.

One of Dale’s greatest passions was watching all of his grandchildren participate in activities such as baseball, basketball, football, rodeo and track.

“Verily, Verily, a seed falleth to the ground and die. But if it die it bringeth forth much Fruit.” This quote could be no more true of anyone than it is of Dale Schvaneveldt since he is survived by his beloved spouse Annis and their five children; Paul B. (Krystal), Jimmy Dale (Rita), Dan Lee, Alan Carnel (Debra) and JoAnn (John) Harding. From these five fruitful children spring nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Six brothers and four sisters also survive him: Theo, Blane, Jerry, Phil, Sidney, Brent Tracy, JaNice, JaNeal, Veda and Lila Kay as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers and twin great granddaughters.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 17, 2000 at Jerome, Idaho. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Dale to Hospice Visions, 1300 Kimberly Rd #11, Twin Falls, ID, 83301
