
THOMPSON, CREIGHTON D., March 4, 1928 – March 14, 2006
KAYSVILLE – Creighton D. Thompson, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden surrounded by his loving family. He ws born March 4, 1928 in Logan, Utah, the son of Peter F. and Iva Durfey Thompson.
He married Adrienna Williams, May 23, 1952 in Malad, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Gailey Park 1st Ward in Kaysville, Utah and formerly of the Roy 13th Ward where he served as Scoutmaster and in many other callings and positions within the church.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy and was a member of Local 57 IBEW. He was employed by Utah Power and Light for 38 years.
Creighton enjoyed the outdoors and was a great storyteller and a human encyclopedia, knowing a little about everything. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend who never missed an opportunity to show his support to those he loved.
He is survived by his wife Adrienne of Kaysville; children: Cindy (Robert) Heiser of Layton; Peter Rodney (Deanna) Thompson of Stansbury Park, UT; Kevin William (Lisa) Thompson of Kaysville; Troy Creighton (Michele) Thompson of Payson, UT; he is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one brother Kim D. (Ila) Thompson of Idaho Falls, ID.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild Jordan Allen Thompson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
