
STONE, CLYDE LEON, January 17, 1932 – December 29, 2008
DUBOIS – Clyde Leon Stone, 76, of Dubois, passed away December 29, 2008 at his home of natural causes. He was born January 17, 1932 in Malad, Idaho to David Ariel Stone and Edna Louise Gillgan Stone. He grew up in Pocatello and attended the University of Idaho. He lived in Pocatello for 31 years and moved to Dubois 45 years ago.
He was married and divorced. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for the Dubois Garage and then at the U.S. Government Sheep Experiment Station in Dubois until his retirement.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints. He enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center for lunch. Clyde also liked camping, fishing, family gatherings and tinkering with cars.
Survivors include daughters Lillie Velet Stewart, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Becky Lynne Mitchell, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Kathy Ray Stone, Dubois, Idaho, Annie Lee Warren, Sweethome, Oregon and Annie Lee Warren, Sweethome, Oregon, sons David Leon Stone, Dubois, Idaho, Richard Clyde Stone, Monteview, Idaho, Troy Neil Stone, Dubois, Idaho and Michael Paul Stone, Idaho Falls, Idaho, brothers LaRoy Ariel Stone, Pocatello, Idaho, Paul David Stone, Pahrump, Nevada, and Carl Fredrick Stone, Provo, Utah, as well as 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held January 5, 2008 at the Dubois LDS Beaver Creek Ward. Burial will be in the Dubois Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls.
