Our dear, sweet husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Clive J. Orgill passed away at his home in Sandy, Utah on February 11, 2010. He was born on September 27, 1939 in Heber City, Utah to James W. Orgill and Ina McDonald Orgill. He was raised in Daniels, Utah and was the youngest of eleven children.
He married his soul mate, VaLoise Waldron May 27, 1961. They were blessed with five children. He was employed by RioGrande Motorway and then by Hadley Auto Transport. He worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. He was a loving man who would do anything for anybody.
He loved his family with all his heart, but more importantly, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ became his Lord and Savior in his mid-twenties and from that point he strived to live for the Lord. He enjoyed going to church. Throughout his life he faithfully read the Bible. This past year he didn’t want to put it down, which resulted in reading it several times.
He is survived by his loving wife, Valise; children, Laurie Orgill Van Dam (Sam)’ Julie Orgill Rickey, Holy Orgill Kastner; Clive Todd Orgill (Paulette); Cody J. Orgill; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great -great-grandchildren; brother, Merrill (Frieda) Orgill, Upton, Utah; sisters, Wanda (Verl) Mair, Heber, Utah; Maureen George, Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Ora Higginbotham; Bernell Orgill; Fern Rescott; Curtis Orgill; Boyd Orgill; LaRay Orgill; Betty Wooddall.
Funeral services were held at Geoff Mortuary in Midvale, Utah on Wednesday February 17, 2010. Interment: Samaria, Idaho Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to family, friends and Good Shepherd Hospice for the love and support. He will be missed more than words can express but we know he is at peace in the arms of God.
