CLEON H. SPENCER
Cleon H. Spencer, resident of Sylmar, CA, passed away November 6, 2000 of a brain hemorrhage.

He was born Dec. 6, 1923 in Kanab, UT to Clara Esplin and Homer B. Spencer. Veteran of World War II. Fought in D-day invasion at Normandy. Active member of the LDS Church. Former insurance salesman and school teacher. Married LaVina Thorpe Aug. 11, 1948 in Logan Temple.

Survived by wife; son, Michael (Delia); daughter, Cathy (Steve) Taylor; and four grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers; Loren (LaRene), Reno, NV; Gareth (Donna), Beaver, UT; four sisters: Roberta (Don) Hadley, Walla Walla, WA; Persis (Gerald – deceased) Carling, Holladay, UT; Vera (Perry) Piercy, Othello, WA; Leonora (Robert-deceased) Cook, West Jordan, UT; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Lawrence.

Interment, Eternal Valley Memorial Park, November 10, 2000.
