Christina Gee Hill

Christina Gee Hill, 86, of Garland, Utah, died Monday, May 11, 1987, in the Box Elder County Nursing Home in Tremonton, Utah of causes incident to age.
She was born December 2, 1900 in Wellsville, Utah, a daughter of Randolph Wilson Evan Gee and Christina Annabell Glenn Gee.
She married Joseph Vernal Hill, June 27, 1918, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died July 21, 1968.
She had lived in Naf, Idaho; Garland, and Clear Creek and was educated in Raft River, Idaho.
She had been a cook and waitress at Mary’s Cafe in Strevell, Idaho; cook for the Garland School and cook for Bear River High School.
She was a member of the Garland 2nd LDS Ward. Was a Relief Society teacher, Jr. Sunday School counselor and was on the Welfare Service Committee.
Surviving are eight sons and three daughters: Carl G. Hill, Powell, Wyoming; Don J. Hill, Garland, Utah; Frank R. Hill, Tremonton, Utah, Merrill Hill, Garland, Utah; Theron N. Hill, Ogden, Utah, Jay Hill, Ogden, Utah; Glenn Hill, Sunset, Utah; Hyrum Garald (Buck) Hill, Tremonton, Utah; Mrs. Darrell (Dorline) Rose, Jacksonville, Florida; Mrs. Lyman (Dorothy) Thompson, Garland, Utah and Mrs. Ross (Mary Ann) Tracy, Malad, Idaho; 56 grandchildren and 88 great grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth (Gee) Hougarrd.
She was preceded in death by three daughters and two sons.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 14, 1987 at 11 a.m. in the Garland Tabernacle with Bishop Walter B. Johnson officiating.
Interment was in the Garland Cemetery.
