Cherry Sweeten Warrington departed for her final adventure on Jan. 1, 2010.
She was born in Holbrook, Idaho on Mar. 5, 1928 to Warren and Lila Sweeten. She was married to Ronald J. Warrington in Feb. 1954. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2002.
She enjoyed time with her family and friends, traveling, playing cards, Red Hot Ladies luncheons and a good glass of wine.
She leaves behind Dallas (Joe) Nick and Sara Mortensen; Corby (Chad) Kira and Maggie Booth; Jayme (John) Keesha and Trevor Phibbs. She is also survived by Bob Sweeten, Bonnie Snow and Lyle Sweeten. She was preceded in death by siblings: Genevieve, Hugh, Claudia, Hogle, George and Dewey.
At her request there will be no formal services. Friends and family may gather for an informal remembrance at Holliday Cottonwood Mortuary, 460 S. Highland Drive, Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Interment to follow in Holladay. A celebration of Cherry’s life will follow.
