Boyce A. Warren, (1938)

WARREN, BOYCE A., July 4, 1938 – June 19, 2008

CONNER – Boyce A. Warren, 69, of Conner passed away June 19, 2008 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Boyce was born July 4, 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Amos and Verdant (Despain) Warren. He was the oldest of eight children.

Boyce moved with his family to Othello, Washington, where he worked on farms. He later moved to Reno, NV to work for his uncle as a painter. In 1985 he moved to Conner. Boyce loved the Bitterroot Valley and his view of Trapper Peak.

Boyce was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, Scott Spide.

He enjoyed going to the wrestling matches to see his grandson wrestle.

Boyce is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay of Conner; daughter Wendy Nicora of Reno, NV; stepchildren Vicki Granata of Darby, MT, Tonya (Bret) Schei of Pocatello, ID; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was especially close to his grandson, Christian Hammersmith whom he has raised.

Also surviving are brothers, Dennis (Cloene) of Provo, UT; Ross (Helen) of Rexburg, ID; sisters Ladee (Les) Carpenter of Salt lake City, UT; Lynette (Gary) Tonks; Carla (Scott) Zundel of Sugar City, ID; Maryanne (Keith) Taylor of Pasco, WA; Charlotte (Ron) McDonald of Quesnel, B.C., Canada.

Funeral services will be held June 24, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Darby. A graveside service will take place at Malad City Cemetery.
