Charles Henry Orison, Jr. 77, of Logan, died Saturday, September 22, 1990 at the Logan Regional Hospital.
He was born September 30, 1912 in Arbon, Idaho, a son of Charles Henry and Jean Ann McNeil Orison. He married Sarah Mae Ashton on January 14, 1939 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was educated in the Arbon Valley school system. He worked as a farmer most of his life. He was an Elder in the LDS Church having served as a hometeacher in the Logan 3rd Ward.
Survivors include his wife of Logan; one son and two daughters, DeAnn and Robert Jones, Logan; Sharon and DeMoyn Webb, Richmond; Charles William and Gloria Orison, St. George; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arch Orison, Pocatello, Idaho; Mac D. Orison, Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Allen Hall Mortuary in Logan with Bishop Robert Owens conducting. Interment was in the Richmond Cemetery.
