Charles Abrum Romriell Jr., 92, 557 N. Ninth, died Sunday morning [February 16, 1982] at Pocatello Regional Medical Center following an illness.

He was born June 17, 1893 in Robin, to Charles Abrum and Anna May Norton Romriell.

On April 22, 1914 he married Elnora K. Kemp in the Logan LDS Temple, Logan, Utah. She died October 15, 1975.

He lived for a time in McCammon, where he engaged in farming. He moved to Pocatello in 1930 and was employed by Lee Reid Concrete Company as a carpenter. He had also worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a carman. In 1945, he worked for the Naval Ordinance Plant until his retirement, at age 65. After retirement, he continued to work as a carpenter.

His hobby until the time of his death was making table-and-chair sets for little children.

He was a high priest in the Fourth Ward LDS Church. He also worked in the Logan and Idaho Falls LDS Temples.

He is survived by two sons, Ira Romriell, Brisbane, California; David Wilson Romriell, McCammon; a daughter, Mrs. Earmal (May) Newsom Pocatello; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Stewart, Pocatello; Mrs. Carrie Smith, Chehalis, Washington; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Parents, three sons, one daughter, three brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services were Thursday at 1 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel with Bishop Dale Kirkham officiating. Burial was at the Norton Cemetery, McCammon.
