Catherine Hughes Cowley

Services were conducted at Logan Wednesday for Mrs. Catherine Hughes Cowley, age 82, a former resident of Samaria, who died Jan. 18th in a Logan hospital. Among her survivors are several nieces and nephews, Malad and Samaria.

Mrs. Cowley was born March 31, 1888, Samaria, Idaho to Gomer and Jane Roberts Hughes. Married David Cowley, Nov. 17, 1914, Brigham City; solemnized Logan LDS Temple; he died 1960. Member Logan Third LDS Ward. Employe(d) Ellis School Lunch Program. Member Thomas Tarbet Camp, DUP. Survivors: sons, daughters, David, Roy, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Warren (June) Sutton, Provo; Donald, Logan; 11 grandchildren; brother, Robert, Salt Lake City; Rowland, California.

Internment was at Logan City Cemetery.
