Carol Price Bake

Carol Jean Price Bake, 57, of 38 West 90 South, Kaysville, Utah, and former Malad resident, died Thursday in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City (Death June 27, 1985).

She was born September 8, 1927 in Malad, a daughter of Joshua and Beatrice Jones Price. She was reared and educated in Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School.

She was married July 23, 1953, and later divorced. After her marriage she lived in Rigby, Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah. For the past five years she has resided in Kaysville.

She worked for Davis County as a clerk for seven years. She was a member of the LDS Church and served for many years in the primary and in all auxiliaries. She was especially interested in genealogy.

She enjoyed all types of handiwork.

She is survived by two sons, Clay Bake, Farmington, Utah and Brad Bake, Bountiful, Utah; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Tony and Joshua; four brothers, Earl Price, Downey; Marion Price, Malad; Stan Price, Boise; and Ronald Price also of Malad; two sisters, Mrs Ross (Pearl) Kelly, Kensington, Md. And Mrs. George (Shirley) Fry, Ogden, Utah.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beatrice Jo, one sister and four brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday July 1, in the Malad LDS Third Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
