SERVICES HELD FOR BRADFORD J. CROWTHER

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Malad First LDS ward chapel for Bradford J. Crowther, age 3, who died Mar. 12th (1960) of complications following chicken pox.

Bishop G. Howard Neal officiated at the services. Prayer at the home was offered by Heber Johnson. At the chapel, the invocation was offered by Wm. H. Rutter and the benediction, Bishop D. Dredge Thomas. Speakers were James G. Vaughan and Bishop Neal who also read the obituary. Musical selections included a duet, Lois Call and Connie Dives; solo, Jenkin Jones; vocal solo and organ selection, Bert O. Marble and Betty Jane Crowther. Accompanists were Betty Jane Crowther, who also played the prelude and postlude music, and Mary Louise Peden.

At the Malad City Cemetery, Edward N. Crowther offered the dedicatory prayer. Interment was directed by the Benson Funeral Home.

Members of the Bluebird class of 1960 and cousins of the deceased carried the flowers supervised by the First Ward Relief Society. Casket bearers were cousins, Clyde Anderson, Douglas Harris, Barry Crowther and Stephen Harris.

Bradford was born June 13, 1956 at Malad, the son of Edward Neal and Lila Johnson Crowther. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward N. Crowther, Malad; Mr. and Mrs. Heber K. Johnson, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mecham, all of Logan; three brothers, Darwin, Nolan and Jared; and one sister, Mildred, all of Malad.
