BEVERLY SUDWEEKS GIBSON

OGDEN – Our mother passed away March 3, 2011 in Ogden, Utah. She is loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Beverly was born December 5, 1927 in Nephi, UT to Richard and Flossie Sudweeks. When she was 20 years old and in college, she met Donald Gibson from Malad and later married him in the Logan Temple. They lived in Tremonton for more than 50 years until Don died in 2000, then Beverly joined her daughter Tami’s family in Eden to spend her last decade in the company of grandchildren.

Beverly and Don built their life in Tremonton as a team, beginning with working together in their upholstery shop and later raising twin teenage daughters late in life. Beverly was active in the LDS Church, accepted leadership callings and served in the Logan Temple with Don.

Beverly Sudweeks Gibson is preceded in death by the short life of her daughter Marty Ann (age three) and longer life of her husband Don (married 53 years). She is survived by her five daughters, Debbra Wheatley (Kimbal); Geri Dawn Allred (Denny); Mindy Deters (Jeff); Cami Hodson (Justin); and Tami Satterwaite (Taylor). Beverly and Don leave behind 34 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to carry on their legacy.

Funeral services will be held March 9, 2011 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Tremonton, UT. Interment will follow in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
