Beverly Annette Vanderwood

MALAD — Beverly Annette Vanderwood, 50, of Salt Lake City and formerly of Malad, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1992, in Salt Lake City.

She was born Jan. 14, 1942, in Malad, the daughter of Howard and Donna Hancock Vanderwood. She graduated from Malad High School in 1961. She had never married. She lived in Boise, and later Salt Lake City, where she had attended the school for the blind.

She had received her ham radio license, and had enjoyed it very much.

She is survived by her parents, of Malad; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Cheryl) Madson, Ogden, Utah, and Mrs. Rick (Jean) Erskine, West Jordan, Utah.; and six brothers, Brent, of El Toro, Calif.; John, of Malad, Evan, of Pocatello, Alvin and Bill, both of West Valley, Utah.; and David, of Kearns, Utah. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, where friends may call prior to services on Saturday. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
