Beth Marie Sorensen Miller

MILLER, BETH MARIE SORENSEN, March 16, 1921 – February 3, 2006

Beth Marie Sorensen Miller passed peacefully away from this life on February 3, 2006.

She was born March 16, 1921, in Mendon, Utah to Franklin Earl and Dollie Jane Copen Sorensen. She attended school in Malad, Idaho and Logan, Utah. She graduated from Utah State University Phi Kappa Phi.

She was an active member of the LDS Church all her life, and faithfully served in all organizations. She also worked in the Logan Temple. She was an avid genealogist. She loved singing in the ward choir and had a beautiful alto voice.

Beth married Lewis Loveday, later divorced. She married Sterling Richard Miller June 7, 1957 in the Logan Temple.

Beth taught first and second grades in the Cache County School District. Later, she worked at the Salt Lake LDS Hospital Snack Bar and Gift Shop for 23 years. She volunteered in the PTA with each of her children.

Beth was a very compassionate and loving mother, grandmother neighbor and friend. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Judy (John) Siebach, Salt Lake City, Utah; Craig (Kathy) Loveday, West Valley City, Utah; Richard (Marcie), Central Point, Oregon; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friends and her “Circle of Friends”. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling, and granddaughter Rylee.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southgate LDS Chapel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
