Services Today For Mrs. Ruegsegger

Memorial services are being held today (Thursday) for Mrs. Rudy Ruegsegger, age 67, who died Dec. 17th, [1961] at 9:15 p.m. a* her home in Dillon, Mont., of heart ailment.

Funeral services had been hel* Wednesday in the LDS churc* at Dillon. Interment will be a* Malad City Cemetery.

Bertha Spuhler Ruegsegger was born in Zurich, Switzerland June 2, 1894, to John E. and Bertha Hauser Spuhler. She came to the United States when five years of age and lived with her family at Providence, Utah, until he* marriage June 18, 1913, to Rudolph Ruegsegger in the Logan LDS Temple. They farmed in the Daniels area and lived in Malad until 1950 when they moved to Dillon, Montana.

Mrs. Ruegsegger was a love of flowers, her flower beds a city attraction for early spring til late fall. She furnished bouquet for her church every Sunday during this time of the year. She was active in the LDS church, serving in many positions, was director of the Singing Mothers and a visiting teacher.

Surviving are her husband, sons and daughters, R. John Ruegsegger, Dillon, Mont.; Eldon J. Ruegsegger, Troy, Mont.; Mrs. Paul (Verla) Beotticher, Dillon Mont.; Mrs. Otto (June) Balka Shelley; 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a brother, John Spuhler, Logan. A son, Leland preceded her in death.
