SERVICES HELD TUESDAY AT PORTAGE FOR MRS. BERTHA JOHN RODERICK

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Portage for Mrs. Bertha John Roderick, 74, who died Sunday [December 22, 1963] at her home in Portage of causes incident to age.

Burial was at the Portage Cemetery.

A daughter of Henry and Margaret Reese John, Mrs. Roderick was born Sept. 21, 1889 at Portage. She was married to Isaac Roderick March 27, 1912 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survivors are her husband; sons, daughters, Henry, Deon, both of Portage; Mrs. LaVar (Bertha) Johnson, Thatcher, Box Elder County; Mrs. Leland (LaVon) Dedrickson, Peterson, Morgan county; Mrs. Elbert (Margaret) Ashby, New Plymouth, Idaho; Mrs. George (Floe) Gardner, New Zealand; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, sister, N. J., Portage; Brigham H., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ethel Roderick, Malad.
