FORMER ONEIDA COUNTY MAN DIES AT RUPERT

Funeral services for Benjamin W. Thomas, 75, who died January 21, 1952, were held Monday at Rupert, Idaho.

Chivers, Mrs. Leslie Willie, Mrs. Roscow Smith, Robert Willie, Dave Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Waldron, Ernest Waldron, Charles Waldron, Glispy Waldron, Mrs. Alfred Atkinson, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gleed, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morgan, Mrs. Russell Peterson and Violet Dopp.

Mr. Thomas died in the Rupert General Hospital, after a fall Wednesday evening at his home. The mishap resulted in a broken hip. He had been in ill health for a number of years. He was born at Samaria, Dec. 14, 1876, the son of Charles R. and Emeline Eliza Waldron Thomas.

He married Mary Richards at Malad. They moved to Rupert 30 years ago where Mr. Thomas had been engaged in the buying and selling of livestock.

Survivors include his widow, Modesto, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Ann Gibbs, Paul; three sons, Charles Thomas, Havre, MT; Leonel Thomas, Oakdale, CA and James Thomas, Modesto, CA; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Five sisters and one brother also survive. They are Charles E. Thomas and Mrs. Martha Lewis, Malad; Mrs. Harriet Huntsman, Ogden, UT; Mrs. Mary Jeppson, Brigham City, UT; Mrs. Phoebe Cordon, Rigby, ID, and Mrs. Polly Mc____
