FUNERAL HELD FRIDAY FOR BENJAMIN THOMAS

Funeral services for Benjamin Thomas were held Friday, August 28th at the Third Ward chapel with Bishop Jesse Hughes conducting.

Bishop D. Dredge Thomas offered the prayer the funeral home; Hubert Gleed, invocation; Arch Harris, benediction; Pauline Atkinson played the prelude and postlude music; James B. Jones, E.N. Crowther and Bishop Hughes were the speakers; Louis Yearsley and Jenkin Jones furnished the musical numbers; J. Guy Benson dedicated the grave.
