Services Monday For Mrs. Price

Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Smith Jones Price, 72, who died Thursday night [Mar 4, 1965] of a heart ailment at the Oneida hospital, were held at the Malad Third Ward LDS chapel Monday at 1 p.m. with Bishop Lon W. Corbridge officiating.

The family prayer at the home was by Warren Bush.

At the chapel the speakers were Lloyd Sorenson, who gave the obituary, William J. Ward and Ralph Harding; the invocation was by James Vaughan and the benediction by Henry Gleed; vocal solo, Eldon Corbridge; vocal duet, June Crowther and Norma Gleed; vocal solo, Foster Ipsen. The organ prelude and postlude was by Hope Price and the accompanist was Hope Price.

The concluding rites were at the Malad Cemetery with Thomas D. Evans offering the dedicatory prayer.

Casket bearers were sons Ralph, Dale, Marion, Ronald, Earl and Stanley Price.

Mrs. Price was born Nov. 30, 1892, at Washakie, Box Elder County, Utah, a daughter of Lewis Daniel and Beatrice Fortune Smith Jones.

She was married to Josiah Price Dec. 15, 1909, in the Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Price died in 1963.

Mrs. Price attended Malad schools, was active in the L.D.S. Church; member of War Mothers, and for several years was librarian in the Oneida County Library.

Survivors include six sons and four daughters: Ralph D. Price, L. Dale Price, Marion J. Price, and Ronald J. Price, all Malad City; Stanley J. Price, Pocatello; Earl L. Price, Downey; Mrs. Roy (Merle) Coucher and Mrs. George (Shirley) Fry, both Ogden; Mrs. Oliver (Carol) Bake, Rigby; and Mrs. Ross (Pearl) Kelly, Urbana, Illinois; 36 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Warren (Mary) Bush, Malad City.
