Barbara Edna Petersen White Lemmon, 2 March 1907

WESTON – Barbara Edna Petersen White Lemmon, 95, passed away October 17, 2002 at the Franklin County Nursing Home in Preston, ID.

She was born March 2, 1907 in Manti, UT, the daughter of John Hyrum and Bertha Stutznegger Petersen.

She married Orley Bateman White on April 28, 1927 in Salt Lake City, UT. He passed awy on January 19, 1937. She married Richard McCulloch Lemmon on April 21, 1941 in Preston, ID. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1984.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life, serving in many positions.

She is survived by four sons and five daughters: Ray (JoRene) White, Dillon, MT; Jean (Tom) Nelson, Ft. Worth, TX; Hank (Alice) Lemmon, Bountiful, UT; Joann Spencer, Brigham City, UT; Joyce Lemmon, Nampa, ID; Margaret (Ralph) Cook, St. George, UT; Bob (Vicki) White, Weston; Marilyn (Robert) White, Malad, ID; David (Paula) Lemmon, Weston; 49 grandchildren; 250 great and great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Rex Petersen, Manti, UT. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, four brothers, one sister, a daughter, Barbara Birenbaum, and by a son, Thomas Lemmon.

Funeral services will be held October 22, 2002 in the Weston LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery.
