GLEED, AUDREY FIDELLA BOWCUTT

Audrey Fidella (Della) Bowcutt Gleed, 83, died February 15, 1983 in Parkview Rest Home in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born January 17, 1890 in Honeyville, Utah, to James and Mary Ann Grham Bowcut. She grew up and attended school in Honeyville. The family moved to Malad.

She married Alexander Gleed June 29, 1910 at Brigham City, Utah. She and her husband farmed north of Malad. He died June 5, 1971.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society. She was also a member of the War Mothers and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was skilled in quilting and had given away hundreds of quilts to family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, James Gleed, Malad; Merlin Gleed, Paris; and Dean Gleed, North Logan, UT; five daughters, Mrs. Fern Moser and Mrs. Lency (Betty) Hooper, both of Bountiful, UT; Mrs. Bill (Jewell) Paterson, Bellevue; Mrs. Keith (Neva) Facer and Darlene Harris, both of Pocatello; 40 grandchildren; 93 great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Ray Bowcutt, Leeds, UT, and Truman Bowcutt, Rigby; three sisters, Mrs. Otis (Gladys) Atkinson, Ogden, UT; Mrs. Kermit (Bessie) Beglau, Milton Freewater, OR, and Mrs. Ren (Iola) Montgomery, Gannett. She was preceded in death by three children and 12 brothers and sisters.
