FALLIS, ASA, November 26, 1916 – February 11, 1988

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA – Asa Fallis, 71, former Malad resident died February 11, 1988 at his home in Fresno, CA of cancer. He was born November 26, 1916 in Malad to William and Sara Stuart Fallis. He was reared in Malad and educated in Malad schools, graduating from Malad High School.

He taught school in Malad and Cherry Creek and was an educator for the Fresno United School District for forty years.

He enjoyed sports and flower gardening. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, Robert Patrick Fallis of Alabama; two daughters, Corliss White Fallis and Tina Fallis Roderiguez of Fresno; one brother, George Fallis of Saratoga, FL; one sister, Myme Fallis Petersen, Ogden, UT; and seven grandchildren.

Rosary was recited Monday, February 15 at St. John’s Cathedral. Funeral Mass was Tuesday, February 16. Interment was in St. Peters Cemetery, Fresno.
