Art served in WW11 and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Engineer Corp.
He was the Commodore for the Ogden Pineview Yacht Club. He was also one of the original members of the Boat Club.
Hunting was one of his favorite pastimes. He walked thousands of miles exploring the beauty of the outdoors with his dog and his favorite hunting companion, his son, John.

Our father always took care of all the older neighbors when we were kids, when our father became ill, his neighbors began looking after him and our Mom. We would like to thank the neighbors that helped our father, especially Joe and Joan Clark. He would also like to especially thank Terry Thompson – without her help, Art would not have been able to stay home.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m.
