Funeral Rites Held For Arthur Mitchell
Funeral services for Arthur Mitchell, 63, who died (no death date) in an Ogden hospital Thursday following a lingering illness, were conducted in the Presbyterian church Sunday with Reverend Ernest Parrish conducting.

The rites consisted of the opening prayer by Ralph Harding; song, Professor S.M. Powell and Mrs. Margaret E. Jones; talk, W. W. Thomas; song, Margaret Evans Boam and Muriel Nelson Wilding, accompanied by Mary Christensen; obituary, Bishop D.L. Stone and benediction, Franklin Barnes.

Interment was in the Malad celetery.

Mr. Mitchell was born at Logan, Utah, March 30, 1884, a son of William and Margaret Mitchell. He farmed at Daniels, Idaho for many years, where he also served as a school trustee. He also was road overseer and was on the Malad police force for five years.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ganior Mitchell, Malad; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Barnes and Mrs. Margaret Jensen, Malad; three sisters; Mrs. James Smith, Logan; Mrs. Lydia Clark and Mrs. George Morris, Malad; two brothers, Oliver Mitchell, Malad and John Mitchell, Salt Lake City, and a grandson, Theodore Barnes, Jr.
