ARNOLD THOMAS

Arnold Thomas, 79, of Downey, California, died February 18, 1983 in Norwalk, California.

He lived in Downey for 33 years and had been employed by the Los Angeles Soap Company for 47 years. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl (Daniels) Thoms of Downey, Ca; one son, Don Arnold Thomas, Downey; two daughters, Carryle Buell of San Pedro, CA and Sandra Kay Sibley of Cerritos, CA; a brother Russell Thomas of Westminister; a sister, Bertha Colley of South Gate, CA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held February 22 in the Downey, California 1st Ward Church with Bishop Allen Layne officiating. Burial followed at the Rose Hills Memorial Park.

Pall Bearers were Bruce Sibley, Steve Sibley, Stewart England, Owen Stayner, Mont Thomas and Tom Vance.
