ANNIE C.W. THOMPSON DIES SAT., FUNERAL WED.

Mrs. Annie Campbell Williams Thompson, age 86, of Malad City, and former resident of Clarkston, Utah, died October 23, 1976 in a Logan Nursing Home of a stroke.

She was born Jan. 31, 1890 in Weston, a daughter of Fredrick Robert and Matilda Bethenia Campbell Campbell.

She was married to John B. Williams June 19, 1912 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Williams died Dec. 24, 1934. She was married to David C. Thompson May 27, 1936 in Clarkston, UT; Mr. Thompson died Aug. 16, 1968.

She attended schools in Weston and also attended the Oneida Stake Academy in Preston.

Being an active member of the LDS Church, she served in the Malad Relief Society as class leader and visiting teacher; she was also a Primary teacher. In Clarkston, she served on the March of Dimes committee, and was president of the Ladies of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Margaret) Jones and Mrs. John (Norma) South, both of Malad City; three step sons: Ervin Thompson, Shelley, Willis E. Thompson, Clarkston; and Reuben Thompson, Emmett; two step daughters, Mrs. Emery (Mela) Hess, Fielding, UT; and Mrs. Merlin (Veda) Cottle, Pocatello.

Also surviving are 39 grandchildren; 134 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Six brothers and eight sisters surviving are Dewey Campbell, Weston; Oscar Campbell, Weston; Walter Campbell, Spokane, W; Clark Campbell Thompson, Falls, MT; Riffen Campbell, Ogden; Reed Campbell, Mountview; Mrs. Calud (Nora) Whitten, Cave Junction, OR; Mrs. Dick (Hazel) Ward, Preston; Mrs. William A. (Marr) Dahle, Logan; Mrs. Keith (Selma) Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dean (Carrie) Fife, Nyssa, OR; Mrs. Dee (Ruth) Jenson, Mesa, AZ; Mrs. Bob (Eva) Jack, Bountiful; Mrs. Marva Yankey, CA.

Funeral services were Oct. 27 in the Malad Second LDS Ward with Bishop J. Wesley Crowther officiating. Boyd Campbell offered the family prayer at the funeral home. At the chapel, Lothair Thompson delivered the invocation. Bishop Crowther gave the obituary and remarks. Like sketch was read by Terrel W. South. Marie Goodey paid tribute.

Bishop E. Udell Godfrey of the Clarkston Ward was speaker. Benediction was delivered by Dee Jay Thompson. Vocal selections were sung by Carol Daniels, Connie Budge, Adele Russell, Lyle Cottle and Randy Mellor. Accompanists were Hope price and marba Thompson. Mrs. Price played prelude and postlude music.

Concluding rites were at the malad City Cemetery where Jay P. Bills offered the dedicatory prayer. The Second Ward Relief Society oversaw flowers. Casket bearers and honorary bearers were grandsons.

Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home.
