ANNA DUDLEY RICHARDS

FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN OREGON

Mrs. Anna Dudley Richards 80, died Tuesday night [May 6, 1958] at her home in Bend, Oregon. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning in Bend and the body will be brought to Malad Monday for burial.

Mrs. Richards, the daughter of Joseph W. and Sarah Jane Jenkins Dudley, was born April 6, 1878, at Cherry Creek. She was reared and educated here. She was married to John Richards and they made their home here until the fall of 1926 when they moved to Moscow where their children were attending the University of Idaho.

After the death of her husband, Mrs. Richards made her home with daughter, Edna Bucknum first at Emmett and later at Bend.

Survivors include a son and two daughters; Stanford Richards, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. John T. (Larene) Torgensen, Washington, D. C., Mrs. Merle (Edna) Bucknum, Bend; six grandchildren, a great grandchild; two brothers and a sister, Moses Dudley, Joseph Dudley, Malad; Mrs. Frank L. (Sarah) Apgood, Ogden.
