On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, our Mom, Angela Jones Ralphs, left her earthly home to join her brothers, Jason and Brent, grandmas and grandpas and other family members in her heavenly home. She came into this world August 2, 1970, kicking and screaming and left with the same determined spirit.

She was born in Downey, Idaho, and lived her childhood years in Burley, Idaho, Logan, Utah and Downey. Her adult years were spent in Salt Lake City, Bear Lake,Roseville, California, Pingree Grove, Illinois, Hampshire, Illinois, Centerville, Utah and Layton, Utah. She married her high school sweetheart, Colin Ralphs, soon after high school. While they still had a lot of love for each other, they separated just a few years before her passing.

Mom came into this world tenacious and strong willed. She was known for her kind compassionate spirit, her unconditional love for others, her loving care for even the strangers she met along the way, especially the ones who needed a home, a meal, understanding or care. Children, especially lonely, sad ones, were her specialty. They felt her kind heart and love for them. She was also an animal whisperer. They always came to her and responded to her. She loved all kinds of music from fast hard rock songs to soft spiritual ballads. Her beautiful smile attracted men and women alike, and drew them into her circle of caring friends. Her infectious personality made everyone feel happy and welcome. She was a victorious warrior right to the end in spite of her many uphill battles.

Her children were the recipients of her most cherished hugs and kisses. She taught them to accept and love everyone they came in contact with. Everyone she talked to knew how much she loved her kids and grandkids. We will miss her long, random texts telling us how special of a spirit we had.

Mom is survived by her four children, Shanee (Nate) Crosby, Shyler (Cianna) Ralphs, Brock (Emily) Ralphs and Alexus Ralphs, and eight grandchildren: Braxton, Tayven and Zenna Crosby; Dani, Lily and Carter Ralphs; Hadley (and soon to be baby brother Zade) Ralphs. Also her Mom Teri Christiansen Jones, Dad Lonnie (Karen) Jones, brother Shaun (Shelly) Jones, nephew Jason, niece Gentry, boyfriend Nahed Aburahma, and many other extended family and friends.

We will miss Mom’s big smile, rambunctious laugh, loving arms, and caring personality. Heaven has truly gained a loving spirit and we hope there is plenty of sugar and diet coke up there.

We love you, Mom. God be with you til we meet again.

Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home with a family gathering for one hour before. Burial will follow in the Downey Cemetery.
